As the title says is it possible to overclock a xbox 360 with all this new stuff out homebrew ,RGH and other stuff just a general question would be interesting if you can.

it probably is possible but would likely cause a few side effects and would likely crash if pushed to far

I would be interested in going the other way i.e. underclocking, so that games play in slo-mo to make it easier to play for achievement.

I would be neat to see someone accomplish this,, however I'm pretty sure this would cause console death in a very short amount of time , for sure if it's a phat console, the amount of extra heat this would generate would be disastrous to the already fragile state the 360 hardware lives in, I would say that a very large liquid cooling system would be a must but even then I highly doubt the thing would last long before turning it's self into a piece of bacon.

i don't mean to overclock it at 100% say just a extra 25% or something would be good if someone could make some sort of program to run on the xbox so you can change it i did read something about it back in 2009 and it wasn't possible then but as the years go on more stuff is possible.

tbh I doubt you'll ever see this as a public program due to it's ability to fry a box in seconds,, but I agree it would be neat to see someone push one beyond it's limits and see how long it lasts

Example: here are a couple pics of Grid Autosport, this gives a pretty good idea the load these consoles are under during play of a modern game.

Them pics look bad lol but even still like i said even if you could bump it up a extra 25% i know the xbox would just probs melt into a big lump but would be good just to see if it could handle a little extra power i would give it a go with a old jtag/rgh ans see what it is like :)

Little challenge for the coders make a program to overclock the 360 ;)
