I'm actually very pleased with it. Currently have 3 PCs running it. Did you end up upgrading one of your PCs Ricky?

Look i would not suggest upgrading as your compoter should not change that fast like that no matter how good it is....i would just buy it if your really into it and just completely wipe your compoter.(that's how i say it) Then just install the fresh Operating system... The reason i would suggest you doing this is because upgrading will probably cause problems latter on in the future.

PS its not free you get to use it for free for one year. Then they make you pay for it.

I don't reccoment 10. I tested it on my spare Toshiba Sattelite, at first it was kinda okay, something I'd have to get used to, but then I changed my ram in that system up to 8gb with some space chips I had lying about, and bam, invalid installation. Then it wouldn't let me reinstall for free again. I tried tech support and apparently from what they told me, is that Windows 10 is static with your system. Which essentially means what you have in your system, you need to keep, any hardware changes, even something minor such as RAM, causes the install to be declared as invalid.

I'm giving it a 2/10, and I'm being nice there. As someone who frequently messes with hardware, it would definitely not suit me because I'm not gonna buy a new install of the OS every time I upgrade some hardware...

(Keep in mind the support person I talked to was on their forum, so this info isn't 100% solid, just labeling my experience on this topic)

What the guy on that forum told you is completely invalid, I have had several clients go to Windows 10, and one of which I recently installed a newer processor, RAM, and his graphics card, it booted up just fine, just had to install drivers which is completely typical of any new hardware installations.

@XPGNobody, what in the world are you talking about? It's always suggested to upgrade to newer software, while it may be fearful for a whole new OS, Windows 10 was put through several testing stages and was put through several compiled builds before it was released to the public. I was with Windows 10 from the time of announcement to now and the changes they have done are spectacular, while it is a bit new to get used too, it is one hell of an OS, and it performs much smoother on my PC then any other Windows OS out currently.
