I Know Im Probably Annoying People Now But I'm Still Unsure As To Wether I Really Do Need CK3 Pro As I Use An RROD Console For Power And I Don't Mind Having It All Set Up But I Know I'll Need The Probe 3, Just Unsure Wether I Can Get Away With Not Having CK3 Pro As A Power Source Because I Need To Save Money Got An E74 Console I Have To Repair
The CK3 Pro reads data from the drive's PCB via COM or USB so I'm not sure you can get away with it another way but to have a CK3 Pro, you can get the lite version for cheaper though and that should work fine with the probe.
Just like ADDZ said, you don't need the ck3 pro BUT you do need a version of the CK3 to plug your probe into. If money is tight just get the CK3 light and your probe3 and it should work for you just fine.
Tbh mate the way you are setting yourself up is a sure fire way to fry your 360 drives. Make sure everything is grounded !
