Unreadable disks

Hi guys i have burned some XDG2 games and they work fine accept Payday 2 where i got unreadable disk error i have burned 3 XDG3 games and i get the unreadable error all the time, i even rebured one game to try that but no luck.

a few details:

my DVD Drive: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB (works with Payload tool)
Disks: dual layer verbatim dvd+R 8.5GB

abgx360 is all fine no errors.
IMGBurn i get no errors

EDIT: forgot to mention on 2 of the games i get into the actual game (in titanfall i get to matchmaking and thats when the error comes up at the same point everytime)

 

What speed are you burning at? Make sure your drive is capable of burning xdg3.

 

the lowest i can go with my drive is 4x and how do i test if it can burn XDG3?

 

check the settings on imgburner if thats what you using. I had that problem until I check the settings and they were wrong. After I fix them the games worked

 

i've not changed any setting in img burn accept for selecting "Calculate Optimal" for the Layer Break (For DL Media)

 

oh I didn't either but for some reason they were changed. I will just double checked.

 

put opc on m8 and buffer to max.

 

i use to have problems like that too it could be 2 things not sure thou 1.it might be your laser try a pot tweak 2. try a differnt burner not sure if that the problem for u good luck

 

ill try that now, although i got titalfall to work but i dunno if it was my internet connection or the disk but it was really laggy
EDIT: No luck with that, can anyone tell me the settings for imgburn, the ones i've found dont work 90% of the time

i dont think its my burner cause i've done a successful xdg3 game, but thank you for your information

 

just make sure u got the lastest imgburn and i just use default settings and burn slow and i have no issues

 

well the lag would come down to the server you connet to so its not titanfall, If you look on the site hard enough you will find ppl with the same problem you had, Use the search bar for more help.

these settings did me fine and still have done mate...give em a try

opc - off
burn proof - on
force ht - on
online ht - off
smart burn - off
overspeed - on
pce-never done this

read buffer - size 512mb
buffer size - 40mb
buffer recovery threshold - main 20% and device 40%

and try running in safemode burn at 4x and wait 25 mins and they will install 100% to hdd
never had a bad rip done 500+

 

every drive will have more or less diffrent settings for a good burn you just have to experiment with cheap discs with an xgd3 game you know will burn on a cheap discs tweak youre setting until you get a good burn ,
