Terraria RGH issues

So im having issues trying to launch Terraria on my RGH.
When i launch from FSD it kicks me back the the MS dash with the error: System update required. This game requires a system update.

this is the only game i have ever had this issue with. Anyone know a work around?

You might need a patched boot xex to get around that, I'm not sure how you make those but sure somebody can help out

Is there even a title update for that game ?

did you run the game thought yaris swap ?

 

all you need is the avatar update installed and it should work fine, I had to do the same on my dev all games built with xna require it (indie framework)

Where can I find the avatar update? Sorry, I only just started putting XBLA games on my RGH.

Hey guys. i have an issue with terraria too.

i have an RGH. i had several games not work and finally updated the kernel to the most recent 16747. XeBuild apparently does the avatar/kinekt automatically now. kinekt worked. i had no avatar issue.

the issue i have though, when i run the game, i only get the tutorial option on the main menu. i thought it was because we need to finish the tutorial. i had my son do it. but it didn't work.

i tried both using a GOD format and extracted ISO. same. i noticed there is a folder called title update in the extracted iso

do you know how to resolve this?

Instead of using the GOD package use the ISO_rebuild. Extract the ISO. Pull the folder from the Content/000000000000000000/5841128F and copy that to your internal HDD. Then scan for content using your Aurora. Download BOTH TU 7's. Activate one and try the game. If it works you are finished. If it doesn't work activate the other. You are done.

Terraria W/ TU 7 ?? You need to update your kernel to 17489

- Grab a USB Flash Drive 8-32GB.
- Download the USB System Update.
- After it's Downloaded, extract the file, and you'll get a $SystemUpdate folder.
- Plug your Flash Drive into the Computer, and Format it to FAT32.
- Drag the $SystemUpdate folder to the Root of your Flash Drive.
- Turn on your RGH and wait until the Dashboard loads fully.
- Once the Dashboard is loaded, plug in the Flash Drive, and you should see this picture:


- Once you're presented with that, hit Yes. When it is done, you have officially installed the avatar update, and can proceed to go online with your RGH.
