I know this game is a few years old now but thought someone might know as editor in 360rev. Other prob I have is that there are two saves "Options" and "Story". Assume the latter is the one I have to mod. Thanks

Win 7 Yes Splinter Cell Conviction No save data found (as stated). Can't get save file. My understanding is that, uniquely, this game does not save game progress in game save. Don't entirely understand what that's all about. Hope Simone can shed light on this. Thanks Meant someone not Simone!
So the game itself doesn't save any data anywhere? I find that strange.. unless it's saved via some cloud..

Thanks. Happy to do that but there are 3 separate saves: Downloadable Content Options Options Saved Game- Story None of them have save data even though I'm well into the game. I will upload all 3 for you to look at. Watch this space.

Be sure to keep a back-up of this on your PC, I obviously couldn't test it to make sure it works as I don't have that game, but just be sure to re-hash and resign using 360Rev or another tool of your choice.
Thanks again Out of interest did you use the save editor within 360rev. Also am I right in thinking that if I use this It will take me back to the start of the game?
Bit concerned that I have to go back to start of game- even when maxed out. Also not exactly sure of process as this doesn't involve 360rev save editor. Thanks

Hi I think there is still some misunderstanding here. I have tried using the save editor within 360rev but couldn’t use it. Every save on console (three different ones as indicated) had no save data so generated the error message when I opened them with save editor etc. I notice that the one you’ve edited is the “profile.save”. I swapped that with my one but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference. How would I verify that I am “maxed out” as you state? Thanks for your efforts.
I believe the main issue between all of this is, I have never played this game so I don't know how all the saves work..
In essence: I. I extracted each of the saves from xbox hd 2. I transferred to usb 3. I extract to pc 3. I open 360rev 4. I open splinter cell save editor 5. I open save 6. I get error message-no save data found Just curious how you were able to use the save editor to tweak my save that's all. Anyway, thanks for your time. Simon
