Skyrim Gold Editor

Hi guys, been a long time 'leech' of information and stuff, so thought it was about time I did something for everyone else. There are a few of these about, but I've found that most had terrible success rates. So far I've tried this one on 20+ game saves and it works 100%. I suggest you follow my steps as they are laid out in the readme. These are the steps I've used since writing the program (I used to hex edit, but it started taking too long with all my friends wanting gold!).

I would suggest that you don't get too greedy! I started modding with 100 000 000 gold and have only gone up to 200 000 000, in theory it should work with anything up to 999 999 999, but if you try it, make sure you say "YES" to creating a backup first Just in case. Mind you, I've had 100 million gold for a good 40 hrs of play and still nowhere near needing any more!

Inside the rar is an img file showing a barrel in Solitude, you have to use this one. Also in the rar is a read me on how to do it and the steps to complete. It requires that you have some exposure to Horizon (or something similar) and know how to extract, inject and rehash-resign game files.

And the editor... It's rather basic (only 20 mins work), but does the job. It does ONLY hack gold though, no stats.

I haven't. It says that the gold has been added, but when I load up Skyrim it's the same amount.

 

cant find that barrel

 

Save is corrupt, after resignin and rehashing my xbox wont load it, it will load the original file but after editing it wont load for me.

i can not get it to work ive followed the instructions down to the letter and tryed with both test values and i still cant get it to load in the gold :'(

 

Thanks for sharing but I already have the best save editor around for Skyrim. It's called PC version.

 

ok, dumb question, but why the heck would I need to put my PROFILE on the USB stick too??? I NEVER needed to do that with ANY other save editors....just seems a little odd....
