Sony and From Software have released a new set of screenshots for Bloodborne today, revealing new details on the game's Chalice Dungeons. This particular game feature will take you to ancient subterranean ruins beneath Yharnam, with holy chalices granting access to explore the huge structures and multiple levels within.

Every time you open a portal into a Challice Dungeon, the layout changes, meaning that traps, creatures and rewards are always in different places. You can tackle these dungeons alone or with fellow hunters online, reaping prizes for surviving the array of challenges that await. There'll always be new challenges to tackle.

Chalice Dungeons are all about adding extra content and replay value to Bloodborne, with dungeons available to upload and share with friends. Alternatively, you can go online and discover new Chalice Dungeons to face, with "dreadful oily swamps and intricate gothic grand halls" among the locations you'll traverse.

Of course, these will be littered with deadly traps like giant guillotine blades and foul creatures like the protectors and protector ritual masters with their pale skin and dark, sunken eyes. You'll also come across final enemies, like a huge, flaming ancient "guard dog" with its petrified rocky hide, who is among the oldest beasts found amid the ruins.

Check out the new screens below to become better acquainted with some of the monsters and hazards you'll face in Bloodborne's Chalice Dungeons when the game launches on March 25th, 2015 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
