I bought my console flashed in 1.6 back in the ban waves, and I was wondering if it is safe to use it in live (never used live before except for an dashboard update) not sure if I had been banned for the update but I'm wondering if I need to flash the console to LT 1.1 or can I stay on 1.6 and play online.
You aint gonna know if your banned or not until you sign into live. If your not then upgrade your firmware to the latest version for your drive.
Updating to the latest firmware is your safest option, allthough there is no garantee at all that you won't get banned, regardless of what people say. Also it might be wise to "assume" your flagged for a ban after putting it online for the update, so as soon as you go online again it'll ban you. However, theres no way of knowing without going online.
