loud fan noise !

Hey all just been on my Xbox for a good few hours when I turned it off it make a loud fan noise for about 5 mins before fully turning and shouting down, This is the 1st time it has done this since purchase on the original UK release date, my model is a 250gb slim, Any help would be appreciated thanks

 

This happens to me also, all you have to do is hit the power button twice after the first shutdown.

mime makes a loud fan noise from when it starts up haha. thats because its a dirty old pro

 

Mine does the same thing and I figured it out that the fan carries on spinning to cool down the GPU/CPU after some intense gaming session before fully shutting down.

 

Mine does that every time...It's ok I guess
