Laptop screen

Hi, recently my sons clumsy friend broke his Dell 17inch laptop screen. Would i be able to buy any 17inch screen, or does it have to be a Dell one/correct model? Hopefully i can get away with any screen.

 

As Far as im away it has to be the model specific for the laptop but correct me if im wrong.

What is the specific model and Ill have a look for a screen for you man.
