Hi all, I just signed up because I have been interested in modding and gavesaves and all that for the longest time. But never had the resources to do so. Got a new xbox and figured I might take a chance at modding the old one once I learn some stuff about it. My old console has the open tray error. It still works but I have to kind of abuse it to make it read a disc. I was wondering what the cheapest way to go about fixing that would be or if I should just get a new drive for it. On the topic of game saves, I know this might sound like a stupid question but I don't need to mod my console to add a save do I? I have been playing sonic adventure 2 and I know I am never gonna get the 180 emblems by myself. I did it on the gamecube, but I had a lot of help from my friends. I really wanted to play the green hill zone remake and some of the other extras you get for completing everything in game. Found a link from google with a save file for all emblems and all the good stuff. But wasn't sure if I needed anything more than a flash drive to install the file. Anyone that can answer or point me in the right direction, your help would be greatly appreciated! In the meantime I'm gonna use that glorious search feature that a lot of new forum users forget about but if someone replies before that, then that would be awesome.
well obviously I am not going to be able to figure any of this stuff out. I ended up corrupting my gamertag and now it's lost. at least I used a secondary account... but still. this sucks. i suck. *cries in corner*
Welcome to Xpgamesaves , theres plenty or resources here to help you master modding gamesaves. If you need specific help then just start a thread in the appropriate forum and im sure you will get an assist.
