ok your going to need to go to Xur while hes here and buy as many "Three of Coins" from him as you can and stock up on your purple ammo too if you dont have any 1. Start the venus mission "scourge of winter" and get to just before the end where you go up the stairs to fight Draksis (you can pretty much run past all the enemys on the way) before going through the door use 1 of your "three of coins" 2. wear him down to the point you can kill him with a shot from your rocket launcher then get as close as possible to him and blow both yourself and him up 3. you respawn back on the stairs at the start of the fight now another three of coins then run in and collect your engram if it dropped and repeat the process until you used your three of coins Note you wont get an engram every time i but after just over an hour i had 13 its roughly 1 every 4 or 5 attempts but its quick and easy The reason you use one Three of Coins at a time is because after each kill, if one doesn't drop you keep the chance % but not the buff, using another will increase the % and reapply the buff. Using more than one just wastes it. ice breaker helps in terms of ammo
This doesn't really work after the hotfix yesterday sadly ;( but I assume it will work but after a while.
it will work for one obviously, maybe two or three engrams if your lucky. bungies notes state the drop rate is lowered when a player is killing ultras in quick succession.

Yup it works as long as you take a few min in-between killing an ultra, it used to be rapid to do but just take your time and still profit
Best way to do this now is after every three of coin use to switch to the character menu then go back and try again.
