External HDD Help

Guyz i have a 1TB External HDD i wanted to configure 500GB of it for my Xbox how can i do that ?

Note: My xbox is not JTAG or anything

 

You can try partitioning your External using disc management, then configure the half to the xbox.

 

System settings --> memory then it should show up there and from the top of my head I think you press Y or click on it and there is a option for only formatting a certain amount. Also I think it has to be empty before you do this because it wipes it.

 

Guyz i thought the legit Xbox could only handle 16GB

Well, you can customize how much you want for your 360, since it's not M$ brand, 16gb is max ?

 

They increased the external capacity to 32GB but i want a 500GB btw if i have an old 20gb sata hardrive lying around can i use it ?

 

ok here what you do go to youre System settings go to memory push y and format youre hdd(usb) entre youre serial numbre locale where you put youre usb and voila youre done have a full hdd for youre xbox

 

oh yeah now go back and custom format to what you want 500g 0r 1tb

 

uhh i dont really know the serials and stuff

 

serial numbre is where you plug in youre usb or controler (the little window with 2 usb slot) locate in the front of youre xbox

 

if you still have problems pm i walk you through Xbox 360 S console Original Xbox 360 console

 

create 2 different partitions and format one of the partitions using system settings.

in my opinion sell that 1TB
go to ebay buy a 320 WD blue scorpio HDD and hack it
