The above system recently passed away and suffered a painless death. R.I.P. Consoles | (This only refers to 'modern' consoles.) Please note, Bulbtoise is my old account and I no longer use it, I may remake the above video and post it on my new channel. **The life of the DS... ;_; I attempted the above mod on the Nintendo DS (Silver) and damaged the circuitboard. I do however have pictures of previous mods I had done to the system, these mods include: Alternate buttons. (I swapped some of the buttons for the white buttons of a Nintendo DS (Pink). Removal of the speakers. (These were removed along with a few other 'heavy' parts. | Please note, this may have not been practical but did make the system lighter and more usable.) Removal of all stickers. (The console had been dismantled and put back together so many times, it's fair to say the warranty had definitely expired.) Top screen repairs. (After a routine clean of the components, a rigid wire connecting the top screen to the circuitboard split and rendered the system useless.
