Dsi XL Blue light

My brother recently dropped his DSi xl in the bath it worked after he got it out but a few days later it stopped working and just has a blue light where the power button is, anyone got any solutions? also can you list what tools i will need please if possible

 

it was probably damaged then eventually broke

 

is the light blue when you turn it off? if so there damage to the board and need to me sent in
