hello,i can't make avatar awards work,it displayed "!",and said need me to connect the live.can you tell me how to solve this problem?thank you.

 

Alright mate I have just been reading all your TUT and Avatar items threads great threads and TUT's mate very nive I have 2 questions if that's ok please, 1: Is there a v3 or newer version of the editor? as the v2 was uploaded a bit ago and 2: once I place the avatar editor in home brew app (which is where I'm going to have it, where do I put the avatar items as I'm going to grab a few off that massive list of yours, they don't need to be on a xbox formated drive do they I'm going to put them on my external HDD, cheers and +rep

 

Sounds like you didn't sign the items with your XUID to me.

1. Which program? The Avatar Editor for Freestyle? Not too sure. Been terribly busy with moving this past week. So, i've had about 3 weeks of down time. I'll check for you later today.

2.The Freestyle Avatar Editor can be placed anywhere you'd like. Though, if you'd like to have a shortcut to it. Place it in one of the folders Freestyle scans. Avatar items must be placed in the Content/0000000000000000 folder. You can assign them a custom title ID, but if you're going to be doing that for a lot of items, you'd need to split them up due to issues some people have been having with assigning 1000 items the same title ID. xDD Avatar items, for the most part, are treated like DLC. The only difference is you sign them with your XUID.

 

Can i get banned for do this tru USB without a JTAG ?

Can you help me out a bit mate I have the Avatar v2 app all works great but all the avatar stuff I have got from here and all my own off my retail won't show up in the Avatar v2 app, they have all been unlocked and are on my xbox 360 configured usb, I've tried them in several locations and still there are not showing up any ideas please, just so you know I'm new to RGH's so you'll have to explain cheers

 

love the avatar items for my jtag profile. wish i could port a few over to my live profile. is this safe? i know how to change the ids and stuff

 

Have you tried loading the items using the regular avatar editor?

I wish. The reason you need a JTAG/RGH is because you're breaking the avatar item's package signature. So, no. You can't. :LOL:

 

yes mate, I tried on the xbox dashboard's avatar and still didn't show up, I have them all on my xbox configured 32GB usb stick all unlocked with 360content manager and I checked with xm360 and all have been unlocked but just don't show up mate. Jack gave me your Skype I sent you a message on there , I'd really like to use them on my profile on my RGH I have loads a lot of yours and some others but as I said not 1 off them are showing up

 

Is it a 360 storage unit formatted USB drive? It has to be installed in the Content:/0000000000000000 folder. You also didn't mention signing the items with your XUID. Did you do that? If not, there's a detailed tutorial for that i wrote and linked in the topic. If you need a hand, let me know.

 

sorted it mate cheers XPGDarkside helped me out, he's been a right diamond last few days just got my first RGH so a few things I wasn't aware off but its all working now,

Yeah I didn't see the part about using Yaris to patch them to my profile. The thread is a great one just as there was a few parts where you had to go to another thread a few times so I missed that bit cheers mate.

 

Glad you got it sorted. I'd like to put the tutorial in this topic, but this is in the DLC section. So, that's a no no. :LOL: At least, i think it is.

Sorry. If it's not listed, i don't have it. There has been a massive slowdown in items being uploaded and i have no LIVE console to buy them. If you want, i have a trusted friend on here that wouldn't mind grabbing them if you paid for them.
