Nintendo has released a new NES Remix 2 trailer ahead of the game's launch on Wii U eShop later this month.

The video highlights some of the mini-games due to appear in the title, as well as the extra Super Luigi Bros mode set to be featured.

As in the original NES Remix, the game will take twelve classic Nintendo Entertainment System games and split them into a number of timed challenges, offering medals depending on how quickly they're completed.

There are also remix stages, which modify each game in some way, such as obscuring its graphics or modifying the gameplay mechanics.

The twelve games featured in NES Remix 2 are Dr Mario, Ice Hockey, Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure, Mario Open Golf, Metroid, Punch-Out!!, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 3, Wario's Woods and Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link.

NES Remix will be released on April 24 in Japan, and April 25 in Europe and North America.
