Whenever I try to open the .bin file for Minecraft in 360Revolution, it says 'Reading Inventory' for about 2 minutes, then it says 'Complete...' and nothing happens after that. What's going on?
http://www.mediafire.com/index.php make an account with them and upload yr game save den post the link to it on here.
and if it would be easier for one of you guys just to max out my inventory in cobblestone I would very much appreciate it!
I think I have a fix for this for anyone else who is having this problem. Since Minecraft updated something changed and caused 360revolution to not display the inventories of anyone who has visited your world before the update. If no one new has entered your world since the update the editor will load, be blank, and say "complete". To get the editor to work, you must have someone new join your world and edit their inventory. The easiest solution is to create a new gamer profile (Player1 or whatever) and have them join your world split-screen, fill their inventory, save and quit, then edit your save. If you make multiple profiles you can edit multiple inventories to make the modding process a bit easier. After modding, load up your save and sign-in your new profiles one at a time split-screen and store all of their items in a chest.
this worked for me. tho, it could also have been an empty spot in my inventory. --- i had edited my save, played a bit, then figured i needed more stuff. but my inv. just wouldnt open. so i loaded the game in offline mode, added another player to my game (splitscreen) filled the 2nd players inventory, and i also noticed 1 block was missing from my own inv. so i filled it up. and voila. it loaded just now. so its either 2 things 1: inventory must be filled, (all slots must contain atleast 1 block) or 2 add extra player to the game and fill a second inventory.
Worked Perfectly! Invite someone who hasn't been in your world or use a second controller. Go into the world online/offline, creative/survival and in each player's inventory have 1 block of sand in each slot then save. When you add items into the players inventories it is likely that all the items will be placed in your friends inventory not yours.
