before i download xbox game i look at content and its dvd file then iso file but then when i download i get a dvd file and a win rar file and when i extract i get this system update audio_ts video_ts defualt. XEX nfsmw.dvd nfsmw (win rar file) 8.534.030 kb theres no xex file before i extract and this is a blank paper symbol next to it same as dvd file?? dont no if that helps.... i have got need for speed most wanted far cry 3 tekken vs street fighter and there all doing it and before i download it says iso is in there and all the comments are saying they are working fine.. The default.xex is the game so dump that onto your HDD through FTP and away you go in the games folder ofc
You need to extract the win rar file (ISO) with a special program called 360mp-gui follow this tutorial http://www.xpgamesav...n-to-jtag-rips/ from the Extracting the Newly Created ISO File line.

It's an ISO but it shows as a rar file 'cause he associated win rar with the ISO extension (file) so it shows as (kinda) a rar.
Every time i try to download Backup Creator v2.9.0.345 ether had viruses or didnt work cause of missing file so gave up but thanks for the input buddy This didnt work for me but thanks tho mate good to no you care and cause of you..... I CAN PLAY MY DOWNLOADED XBOX GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! extracted iso with 360mp put that folder on hd and puts straight on when i turn xbox on under games. SOOOOO easy once you have the right tools! Thanks alot mate now i can hopefully stop pestering you lot with questions and hopefully help others out. All these programs that he doesn't need. You are giving him. If you have the .iso file of whatever game you have, google Xbox 360 ISO Extract. It's by far the best most user friendly program for extracting 360 ISO's.
theres a million programs out there all doing the same thing whichever works best for you is the way to go
