To mod backpack capacity with Gibbed can be a long process. Mainly due to it not increasing the same way as the ammo pools do. What you are going to have to do is basically trick the game. I'm not going to tell you how to use Gibbed, where to get it, or explain any other aspects of it here. This is just how to increase backpack capacity using Gibbed. Under Raw, select BlackMarketUpgrades. Spoiler The first seven are your ammo. The last two are backpack & bank. So if you have bought all upgrades from Earl(& haven't modded any yet) it'll read: Spoiler 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 Now you want to change the last two back to 0. Return to your game & buy the backpack SDUs from Earl again. Now you will have 40something spaces. Repeat the process as many times as you want. This will take some time to get a large backpack. If you want to do it quicker use this http://www.xpgamesav...899#entry235899 If you find another way to do it within Gibbed, let me know.
Thanks this was a lot more detailed. I was finding that the other tutorials didn't tell you which one was what, so they were dificult to follow. Yours was super easy to follow, Keep up the good work B)
As in only 27 spaces? Yes. http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/51852-borderlands-2-mod-tool/page__p__235899#entry235899
Well, I never wanted to use this but I guess it's the only way. Thanks! Oh and which python thing do I download? I have windows 7.
If you have 64bit then it should be like the 4th one up from the bottom. Haven't been on there but once. It'll be pretty obvious what one you need...
Thx for this TuT Can i mod the Bank slots too with this method? If u know another way to mod it pls let me know THX in advance
you can do something that seems to work for me, which is as simple as changing the numbers, to something massively higher, IE 99999 and it should be infinite . I use Gibbed and modio to do my stuff though
It doesn't work anymore. Even if you go to 0 and then buy all the upgrades to one, try saving and quitting. Then just load up the game right away. It's back to 27 again.
Sorry to bump such an old thread, but has anyone figured out a way to increase backpack space that still works?
just put a relic^in ur bank and copy it like 2000 times and when you want to put a gun in ur bank just swap it and throw that relic away ^^
