I'd like to know what a good amount of money is to buy my first gaming PC and what parts would be good.
    Thanks!

*also, it'd be best if it was running windows 7 or 10*

    budget is the key

but for less than hard core gaming lets say you may prefer

SSD as boot (128GB would be enough to install win 10 alongside all program you may use)
    HDD for game space
    1060 GTX 6GB GDDR 5 as VGA
    i5 6th gen CPU
    8GB DDR-4 RAM (16GB recommended)
    ASUS Z170-A Motherboard
    BL2711U BenQ Monitor
    600W power
other parts as your desire ;)

SSD is not an obligation, is just for start your pc more quickly, and if you already have monitor you haven't to buy a BenQ monitor :D (Asus is better )
