i am getting asked to update on my RGH side... 1. i thought there as something special i had to do to update the RGH side... 2. if i just click accept update, will i get banned? please tell me what to do...i think this may be the reason my link wont work...and if you think you can help with my link go to my other question please, it would be a great help to an absolute beginer.
so, if i am not mistaken...i have to build a 16 mb jasper nand and match with the retail nand to update...right?
I updated via xbl first time I signed into xblse think it was the avatar update because I was on the latest dash..
Yeah, use jrunner/xebuild/nandflasher or similar to build a new image for the dashboard you want to update to. (you will need your cpu key and original nand) There are many tutorials out there that will walk you step by step but if you get stuck or just want to be sure, you can send me a message. Cheers

Do Not accept unless you are on current (16547) Dash. If you are on this Dash already, You may update. Otherwise, You will need to rebuild your nand image. If you need help with that, You can PM Me.
im on 16537 and i dont have a dual nand console i have a rgh on a corona motherboard. i was wanting to know what would happen if i accepted the software update that is says is required to sign into xbl ? i have seen tuts on how to update and i tried and it didnt update my dashboard. and i know im not supposed to take this online but is there a somewhat safe way to do this through dashlaunch with the network settings ? Don't ever accept an Update from Xbox live. Update your Nand to the latest Dash update using jrunner Or preferred nand flasher. If you look around the community you should find some great tutorials on how to update your dash.
