Me and a buddy of mine want to play games together but the problem is is he has them and I don't. I was telling him about a post I saw on here about making my console the Primary System of his account but the issue is is he isn't so sure about it. Main issue is that it says he wouldn't be able to do nearly any of the things he is able to do if his console isn't primary to his account. How exactly would we be able to do a "license transfer" but still allow him to have full capabilities on his console? Another question is if we did this and I downloaded the games and DLC then he remade his console the primary would I still be able to play the games and use the DLC? Please and thank you to whoever looks at this. E/ If he let's me make his accounts primary console mine and I let him use my accounts primary console would he be able to do everything as-if his account was still the primary console? I know it doesn't make much sense but hopefully someone can make something out of it.
No games or DLC will work without his profile logged in or his profile set as primary profile on your console. Everything would be locked! Only thing he would be losing out on is auto uploads of his saves a think
So aslong as he's always on his account on his console (He's the only one to use it so that's no problem) he will be able to do everything he could do before? E/ He'll have access to everything he bought and so will I?
Yeah unless psn goes down then all games lock because the licence would be on your console and games can't be verified
Yeah it doesn't work, I make his account primary on my console but it disables him from playing the games on his console. Guess there is no "Game sharing" Bummer!!
It does work, I have purchased COD, BF4, FIFA and N4S and my friend plays them all online with me on his console, if you have his profile set to primary he must make sure he is logged into PSN If games are locked i usually log out then log in and it unlocks the games, go on what's new as well that usually signs you in. He as my profile set as his primary and i have his as mine, it 100% works you both must of gone wrong somewhere down the line
Yeah that was the issue, it works perfect now, sorry I didn't reply to my post saying it works. I've been busy playing all these games! lol
