In news that surprised absolutely no one, Ubisoft announced today that Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag is going to get post launch DLC content, and what better way to save on all of that extra content than with the beloved Season Pass? Available when the game launches, the Season Pass will provide gamers with a 20% discount on all DLC released before March 2014, including: Freedom Cry – a nine mission self-contained story featuring Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale, these single player episodes follow Adewale, a man who was born a slave, became a pirate, and is now a trained assassin shipwrecked with no crew or weapons. Hopefully Adewale will be able to defeat enemies with his scurvy-laden breath. Here’s a dramatic trailer showing off his badassery! The Exclusive Kraken Ship Pack – this pack contains customization options for the pirate ship Jackdaw to make it extra pretty, and is only available to Season Pass holders. Extra Goodies – weapons, skins, collectibles, and more missions for the gamer with the dollar bills. More Multiplayer Mayhem – extra characters for Black Flag‘s multiplayer mode (fingers crossed for a playable Connor meeting his grandpa for a time paradox). Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will release this holiday season (October for current gen and November for PC and next gen) for the PS3, PS4, Wii U, 360, Xbox One, and PC. The Season Pass will not be available to purchase for the Wii U version of the title, and PC users can save 25% off the Season Pass by pre-ordering Black Flag here. More info on the pirate adventure awaits players here. Anyone psyched, or are you getting tired of Season Passes and purchasing content not yet released? Source: Thatvideogamingblog
