Is there a way .. (well I assume there is a way) to change the character name on a char in a gamesave? If so can you point me in the direction on how to do this?
1. Open save in Modio/Horizon/Preference 2. Navigate to your heroes folder: Contents>Root>Heroes 3. Extract the corresponding hero file that you want to modify. Make a backup. 4. Decrypt it using the tool that's floating around the interwebs. Make a backup 5. Open up file in a hex editor Make a backup 6. On the right side, it should display your character name a few lines down. Change it to whatever you want. Make a backup 7. Save(Hex editor should create a backup, but just for safety, make a backup) and encrypt the file. 8. Replace old hero file. Did you make a backup? No? Hope you didn't make a mistake. 9. Don't forget, first byte before the name is the length, send me the save and name wanted if you can't figure it out.
