yup a **** ton of small files or single very large files tend to do that.

is one reason why i like god games format better.

Like Set says man if you have loads of files rather than one big or a few then it can take a hell of a lot better, try making it ISO2GOD maybe.

Use "360 Content Manager" and hook up an ethernet cable form your PC/Laptop to the Xbox and make sure your on a wired connection via system settings, go to FSD and check the IP by clicking the right stick and inputting that into 360 content manager. and BAM it goes around 12mb/s

You tried using cutie ftp professional! Suppose to double your speed. However sometime mine is slow but most of the time is fast.

Most of the time i transfer straight to my usb portable HDD.

That's a good shout, that's just like an extension to the PC rather than FTP

if you have samba setup .. i found it killed the time for me , not sure if you do or not.

also if you have a hdd adapter , just plug it into your pc ... WAY faster.

Have you tried restarting your PC?

sometimes it just needs a good restart.

too bad you dont have the dev kernel mate, with that you can connect straight through the xbox neiborhood and transfer as if its another drive in file manager, i have found it much quicker.
