BEFORE YOU START!!!!
Make sure you remove your hard drive or memory card out of the xbox 360 and that is it!

Instructions:
1. Turn on the xbox 360.
2. When you get to the home screen there will be no profiles found. That's because you removed your hard drive/memory card which contained all your profiles. Easy to understand =).
3. Now go to system settings.
4. Go to Network Settings.
5. Click Test Xbox Live Connection
6. Start connection and wait for it to finish.
7. When it is done you should get a message saying to update your system. Here is another important thing you need to do DO NOT UPDATE!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM!! Just click No, don't update.
8. You should get a test connection failed message. Just click cancel.
9. After that click Y and you should get a list of numbers or codes.
Check your code under the letter Z
It should say Z: "whatever the code is"
Here are the codes to determine if your console has been banned.
Z: 8015 - 1002 means you have not been flagged yet. But still be cautious when playing online.
If it shows something other than that like
Z: 8015 - 190D, that means that you console has been flagged or banned. Sorry guys.

I hope this can clear a lot of answers whether you have been flagged or not.

Nice little refresher for those who don't remeber this stuff. Great share. should definitely help those weary or worried about being flagged or banned.

This sure has helped me in the past,, I have 3 xbox's sitting here, 1 legit (main) 1 flagged (offline now) and 1 banned... Is that ban fix still around guys? I haven't been able to find it...

If the console is not modded, you have nothing to worry about,, not even with gamesaves I dont think. It depends on which mods you are running though.

I don't run no more mods on it. The only thing I do is update my GT from Jtag. But I do it in the way that it is not detected with extra info when you sign into XEX or FSD.

I would think you would be ok then,, but might want to ask someone else just to be sure.

it's more than likely an ap2.5 fail which isn't that big a deal since even the legit games on legit consoles get this flag from time to time with the new disc format. as long as you don't do anything to draw attention to yourself like massive GS modding or having people flag your account online by using mods in public mp matches you should be fine.

Does this still work (dash 2.0.16202.0) I did something wrong and I hope I did not get flagged what I did was I flashed my xbox back to original firmware and I was testing it out before I put it backer toghether I put a burned dvd in the drive and it said play game so I did and once it went in in disconnected me and returned me back to my dashboard I tested my internet out after and it game me 8015 - 1005 so should I be fine or does Ms flag instantly?

I'm pretty sure I'll get the heads up on being banned when I try to connect to xbox live one day and they say I can't......because I'm banned....and like flags I like flags, I'm sure I've got the whole set
