Hey guys, quick tutorial on how to mod what effects are on an item.

To mod the Effects on an item:
1. Forge a custom item at the Blacksmith.
2. Name the item to whatever you want.
3. Open your save in Hex Workshop.
4. Search for the name of the item and mod the Effects.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The easiest way to add more effects to a weapon/armor is to make a pair of junk Robes (Robes you don't want) and then copy/paste the effects from the Robes onto the item you want more effects for (make sure you delete the effects from the Robes after you copy them). Then you'll have to fix the Number of Effects on the Robes and the item you put the new Effects onto.

If you do it this way you don't have to worry about changing all those Block Sizes.

Thanks for the item mod, ibumudes:o. All I need now is to find out how to change the blade/dowel/disc/limb/plumb/rod damage value that was used in the item's crafting to pump up the total weapon damage.

I just stumbled upon something, as I was messing around with the PC version's saves late last night. I noticed this:

There is a tricky difference between the xbox 360 and pc Hex Numbers.

Example:
Xbox 360:
1C3E10- +25% Damage Resistance

PC:
103E1C- +25% Damage Resistance

As you can see 38 Studios decided to swap the 1st two digits swapped with the last two digits, the middle 2 digits stayed the same. Of course, I was suffering the lack of sleep from playing the xbox 360 and PC versions in an attempt to get both up to the point where I could forge good enough items. So for my fellow Origin/Steam PC users, you can use ibumudes:o's awesome item effect list too, just make a note of the differences.

Ya the PC version is Little Endian and the 360 version is Big Endian. My list is made for the 360 version (I use the PC version to find the ID's though).

Is there a file somewhere that has an updated list of all discovered item effect id's yet? If not, I can scour for them and try to put a list together. This one though:

138484- +100% Physical Resistance & 100% Piercing Resistance & 100% Fire Resistance & 100% Ice Resistance & 100% Lightning Resistance & 100% Elemental Resistance & 100% Bleeding Resistance & 100% Poison Resistance

Coupled with one or two of the +25% Damage Resistance??? God Mode

Well then the next question arises is there any one online that can make some changes to my save game if I upload it to them.
i am looking for extreme fire damage on my daggers and sword( do they have to me made by me or can they be in game items)
and I saw that some one changed their size in the PC version was wondering if it can be done in the Xbox 360 version also. If so I want to be really small.

you would have to have made the weapon also you would need to have made some robes with effects to scrap or the effects will not be that hight check out cavemans thread here http://www.xpgamesav...modding-thread/

1.you would need to craft your weapon weapon name would be needed to edit
2. craft a robe or to so the effect slots can be moved the the weapon names would be needed
3.you would need to pick the effects from the list above and add all the info when you upload your save please post effects you would like adding as shown below

14BC65- +100 HEALTH MANA +2 HEALTH MANA REGEN
14BC66- +25% POISON DMG/ POISON RESIST

Add all your info and save to this tread http://www.xpgamesav...modding-thread/

Thanks
