For the original PSP owners — PSP-1000 (01g) and PSP-2000 (02g) — we present to you neur0n’s PSP Custom Firmware 6.60 ME v1. As usual you’ll want a Pandora-battery on standby incase something goes awry; however, being neur0n, that is unlikely.

This WILL NOT WORK on 3000's and PSPGo's Soon Hopefully Though USE AT UR OWN RISK I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO UR PSP!! GOOD LUCK!

--How to Install--
First, you need to install CFW or HEN in your PSP.

1. copy UPDATE folder at ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
2. Put 6.60 official update at ms0:/PSP/GAME/660.PBP, or let the program download it for you can use a wifi connection.
3. Run installer from xmb.

Very nice tut, I just downgraded a PSP to use the 6.39 PRE-B9 but would have used this instead.

so if i ran 6.39 PRO-B9 i could install this?

have not messed around with psp's for a while now and my pandora battery is completely dead lol
