hey guys

i have been thinking about it for a while, and i have alot of spear time on my hands, and would love to become a modder,
instead of one of them guys just that just always download other peoples hard work, i see some of the things E dose and i am amazed the stuff he dose,
i know there are probably 100's of tuts online on how to do it, but i allways get lost when reading stuff, i would just love someone to show me the ropes on how to make my own patch/HeX edit.
i just really wont to pick someones brain on the whole thing, if anyone could help me i would be very thankful

Depends what you want to do but I can help you start with some saves in HxD of how to edit your own fast file if you like and you can see what you would like to do from there.

start with a game that is easy modded in hex editor then start from there (something where the credits can be changed) which will give u basic know how, then move onto checksums and different values etc

Fast file if just the format your patch_mp.ff is in that's the file you would edit for COD.

Often looking through files for each game in both HxD and Notepad is a great starting place, sometimes that throws up some interesting finds that often you wouldn't expect.
