hello i have found a way to host 10th on ps3 with the 1.12 update
just to be clear u will need 2 ps3s to do this and at least 1 has to be on 3.55 or 3.41 system software and u will need a ps3 with 3.66 or lower yes this dose work with the new ofw 3.66 that came out today
(this part it on your modded ps3)
part 1
this method will be useing the data trancefure function witch will del all data on your non modded ps3
this part is optional this will copy all contance of your modded ps3 hdd to the non modded one (could take hours) so if u dont want it to take hours do part 1 if not skip to part 2
u will need a spair 2.5 sata hdd to do this (dose not matter what size) what u will need to know is what cfw u are runing (if u dont know download 1 and do a system update) and place it on a usb stick as if u where doing a system update (dongle people dont need to wory just download ofw 3.41) take out your beloved hdd with all your games on and put the spair hdd in the ps3
then turn on your ps3 it will have to format that spair hdd and do a system update for u to use that hdd it will tell u step by step how to do that when u turn it on with the new hdd inside it
part 2
now thats over and u are on your ps3 xmb with your spair hdd in
what u will need to do is download the call of duty modern warfaire 2 1.12 update just put the game in with internet settings enabled and load its and it will promt u to update
now u have the update u will need a patch for mw2
insatll multiman to copy files download link
place the patch_mp.ff to dev hdd / game/ bles00683 usdr
now u have done that u have a lobby load the game and test the patch in a lan lobby to see if it is what u want if so carry on if not look for over patches
part 3
this will be useing both of your ps3 at the same time to trancefure that patch over TO YOUR UNMODDED PS3
got to settings then system setting then data trancefer utilaty and follow instrutions there and walla u have a fully working 10th challange lobby
