EA's biggest digital launch ever, Star Wars: Battlefront is really only just getting started according to EA Studios Executive VP, Patrick Söderlund. With The Battle of Jakku landing for free next week for anyone who pre-ordered the game, and the week after that for everyone else, there's more free stuff in the pipeline too.Apparently, players can expect to see more free maps and Star Cards for your loadout in the "coming months", in addition to the four expansion packs available with Star Wars: Battlefront's Season Pass, that will add 16 new maps, four new modes, four new Heroes/Villains and more."Best of all, this is just the beginning. We have lots of new content coming over the next several months that will provide new ways to immerse yourself in Star Wars," Söderlund writes in a blog post on EA's Star Wars site."Of course, we are also planning to support Star Wars Battlefront with new content well into the future. We will be adding more of what you love about the game, like new maps and Star Cards, for free in the coming months, in addition to all of the content we have coming with [the] Season Pass. We’ll have more to share soon."
