People have been using Super Mario Maker to recreate levels from games like Mega Man and Contra, but it isn’t often we see a more recent release revisited. However, Layne has taken on that challenge and recreated a level from Yoshi’s Woolly World. In Yoshi’s Woolly World, there are special levels you can unlock in each world if you have enough flowers. “Perils of the Perplexing Pyramid” is the second such level in the second world. Layne has perfectly captured the feeling of that original area in which Yoshi needs to activate a number of switches remotely. Except in the Super Mario Maker version of the level, this is done with enemies. This Super Mario Maker level also displays proper Checkpoint Flag usage, in case someone was wondering the best means of using the mid-level save points.
