[Tutorial] Battlefield Hardline Installation

Required Content Installation Data is located in Disc 1 and it's mandatory to Manually install it in order to play the game in which will take up approximately over 3.3GB in size.

(Load Disc 2 and Select "EPISODES" for Single Player)

Game is tested in Extracted Format (.xex).
(Minimum Dashboard Version Required: v2.0.16537.0)

Content Installation Data is Compatible with the following Xbox 360 Configured/Formatted Storage Devices:

• Internal Hard Drive.

The folder structure used is as follows:

Games \ Battlefield Hardline \ Disc 1 \ Extracted Files.
Games \ Battlefield Hardline \ Disc 2 \ Extracted Files.


(Required Contents Must Be Transferred Manually. For your curiosity, Here's a reference for the files location).

Folder Structure for Content Installation Data To Internal Hard Drive:

(Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 454109E0 \ 00000002 \ 454109E000000001 (Battlefield Hardline HD Content 1/2)
(Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 454109E0 \ 00000002 \ 454109E000000002 (Battlefield Hardline HD Content 2/2)


*For External Hard Drive Users:
In order to play the game using an External Storage Device, The 2 Content Packages "454109E000000001" and "454109E000000002" must be Individually Extracted using Horizon or a similar program.

Once each of those Content Packages have been extracted, Combine them together and copy them to the root of Disc 2 then Delete the "BF.Splash.xex" file from Disc 2 and run the game.
(Tested on Single Player Only with 5 Minutes of gameplay).


*If you have problems running the game with FSD and/or DashLaunch, Disable both of them and load the game using xexmenu.

Your welcome, If you're using the external hard drive method, DLCs might conflict with it so it is recommended that the Internal hard drive method be used instead...

 

Thanks! this is the only way I could get this game working on my rgh
would the external hard drive method work with other install type games?

 

Just a few games, Most require an internal hard drive for it to work.
