Android 5.0.2 Lollipop will bring on your Nexus 7 tablets a whole new experience with a new UI (Material Design), new lockscreen where you can view and respond to messages directly, Priority Mode, new Quick Settings (flashlight, hotspot, screen rotation, cast screen controls), easy toogle on/off for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Location. Also from Quick Settings you can manually adjust your brightness for any condition, like adaptive brightness. Moreover, you’ll have up to 4x performance improvements, new animations, new task manager. ------------ You can download Android 5.0.2 Lollipop factory images for Nexus 7 2012 Mobile here and for Nexus 7 2013 Mobile here. The update process isn’t as easy as OTA is, so you might think twice before you do something wrong. You’ll need a software in order to install the update on your Nexus 7 tablet, so my advice is using Nexus Root Toolkit (download). Proceed to update only if you know what are you doing!
