    1. African Giant Snail

    These African Giant Snails are typically found in the Eastern parts of Africa. They can often reach length of 8 inches and are considered huge pest as they eat any vegetation they can get their slimy faces on. They lay up to 200 eggs 6 times a year with a 90% survival rate so they can quickly become infested if left uncontrolled. To top it off they live a typical life span of 5-6 years, with some recorded at over 10 years old.

    2. Bismarck Flying Fox (Bat)

    Found in New Guinea the Bismarck Flying Fox averages around 3.2LBS and has roughly a 5-6 foot wingspan.

    3. Cane Toad

    Native to Central and South America the Cane Toad is an avid breeder and pest. Laying over 2000 eggs at a time they are good for pest control. On the contrary they are also considered a nuisance as they have few predators and kill off other animals with their toxic skin. They average around 6 inches yet the largest one record was 15 inches in legnth.

    4. Chinese Giant Salamander

    This huge creature is the Chinese Giant Salamander which is the largest amphibian in the world, reaching 5.9 feet. While it’s very rare to see them these days as they are considered critically endangered due to habitat loss and pollution, you can find them in rocky mountain streams and lakes in China.

    5. Giant Weta Cricket

    Bigger than any other insect in the world, the giant weta easily fills up the hand of a full grown person as seen in the picture below.

    6. Saltwater Crocodile

    Measuring 21 feet from nose to tail this Saltwater Crocodile was captured by 100 determined men after a 3 week hunt in the Philippines. He was responsible for at least 1 fisherman’s death and kept villagers in fear for over 20 years.

    7. Giant Flemish Rabbit

    A rabbit that’s origin dates back to the 1500’s, the Giant Flemish Rabbit is a great domestic pet. Here you see Sandy hanging out with her doggy brother.

    8. Coconut Crabs

    These beasts are named Coconut crabs because their claws can crack open a coconut… Not to be messed with Coconut crabs are found on Islands across the Indian Ocean and parts of the Pacific Ocean. They are the largest land living arthropod in the world with a bodyweight of 9lbs and length of 3 feet.

    9. Giant George the Great Dane

    Meet George. He is a Guinness World Record Holder at a whopping 245lbs. As it’s pretty clear, George is the quite the eater consuming more than 110 lbs of dog food every month.

    10. Giant Freshwater Stingray

    While close to extinction, these giants grow to 6.2 feet across and nearly 1,300lbs. I would not be as calm as this man if I were in his shoes!
