Many gamers were happy to hear that Bioware didn’t have any plans to discuss the possibility of future DLC releases for Dragon Age: Inquisition until after the game launched, because the team wished to finish the base product before working on any add-on content. However, now that the game has been available for over two months, some fans are now anxious for Bioware to begin talking about new downloadable content for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Unfortunately, for those waiting for the chance to continue their adventures within Thedas thanks to new DLC, the developer still isn’t ready to announce if they even have plans to release any add-on to bring additional content to the single player mode of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Responding to fan inquiries on Twitter, Dragon Age: Inquisition creative director Mike Laidlaw told gamers that there still isn’t anything to announce regarding DLC for the most recent installment of their popular fantasy franchise.

While fans are hoping for the opportunity to download new content for the game, Laidlaw instead reminded players that they can at least download free music from Dragon Age: Inquisition for a limited time.
“If you’re in the mood to DL something, the Bard songs are free for this week and the next.”
Laidlaw’s answer is referring to the fee tavern songs that are now being offered for free to all Dragon Age: Inquisition users for a limited time, as reported earlier this week. From now until February 9, fans can pick up the free Dragon Age: Inquisition tracks before the music begins being offered for a premium fee.
Despite the lack of news surrounding a future DLC pack for Dragon Age: Inquisition, it looks likes the game may soon be updated to add one of the most fan-requested features to the game. After informing fans for weeks that Bioware is looking into a way for players to edit their character’s appearance from inside the game, Dragon Age: Inquisition Executive Producer Mark Darrah also answered player questions on Twitter today to confirm that the team is now close to actually implementing such a mechanic.
Since the launch of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Bioware has released a small free add-on that added new content to the game’s new co-op multiplayer mode. However, those who have consumed all the title’s story-based campaign has to offer are still waiting on news regarding new single player DLC that will give them a reason to play Dragon Age: Inquisition once more.
