CD's wont play?

    Recently my External HD broke and wouldn't load into xbox,
    so I started buying ripped-CDs again cause it's cheaper.

    I recently bought Farcry 4 and The Evil Within, The Evil Within seems to work
    meanwhile the Farcry 4 doesn't seems to, it just says unrecognized disc, clean with cloth / restart console. I tried playing the Farcry 4 on the rip-off store that I bought too and the Farcry 4 on their console seems to work, mine doesn't. What's the cause of this, why is mine not playing?
    Pls do help.

    run the disc through abgx on your computer,and screenshot the results.it does sound like a bad burn.

    your laser is on its way out.
    I don' think so, I bought this last year of september it was brand new the moment I bought it I paid for it to be j-tagged and been using external HDD ever since, well until it broke recently.

    Since it was jtagged, maybe the guy messed up and didn't tell you. It's always possible that when he flashed it he accidentally touched the laser.

    Trust me new laser can go at anytime. I have fitted many over the years new out the box that don't even work.

    My slim has had 3 lasers in 2 years mate and thats on RGH.

    Its reallt hit and miss with fitting new lasers and they can go at anytime.

    All of my CD works (most of them is games from 2012), and also the Evil Within works.
    Just that, this Farcry 4 which was released this year doesn't seem to work on my 360.

    Do as HAX said and run the game through AGBX and take a screenshot.

    How to? I downloaded abgx, inserted the game on my DVD-drive.
    don't know what do to next, lol. Sorry about that, mate.

    AFAIK your dashboard version shouldn't matter if you're offline (for obvious reasons). Change your AGBX settings to the way mine are, and choose the drive with the DVD in it.

    Haha, yep. You have an awful burn. I would tell whoever you bought it from that they fudged up and demand a refund. Show them that screen. If you want copies, make your own or buy from someone on here. I can do that for ya if you live in the U.S.

    This is what a proper ISO should look like. The only difference is that the CRC will match, because mine is modded.
