Get an item that is stackable (it doesn't work on all items) for instance a Blank Rune (you can buy for 71 at Skyhold shop) Get 2 or more of them then Mark them as valuable in your inventory (L2), go to the shop and go to sell, then go to you valuables tab (you'll want to get rid of everything else first) Hit Triangle then X really quickly. You should see a popup box telling you to select a quanity, but you should notice the background the item disappeared from the list. Go ahead and hit X to sell on the quanity menu. Now go to the BUYBACK tab (the last tab on the shop menu) and change back to buy..you should now see double whatever you sold. You buy them back (at a cheap rate) Then repeat. Yeah that's mostly what I use it for. Also if someone wants something that stacks well and sells for 12 gold a pop in the start of the game you can buy blank runes for 71 gold then do this trick.
Just tested this on the Xbox 360 and it works all you have to do is just replace the PlayStation controls with Xbox ones so L2 = LT tingle = Y and X = A. Thanks @Epic XPG Gamer for this cheat it will help big time in crafting Just done it with only one item witch was the dragon bone and it works so this cheat works with single items as well
Please note: No herbs will work with the dupe method. OP feel free to add; If you go to the vendor at Skyhold that sells the boost in influence buy the most expensive ones and then BEFORE leaving the store menu sell them back (repeat till you are satisfied, max influence lvl is 20) you will gain all the influence without spending a single gold piece.

Works on Xbox one, best time/money ratio is to do it with dragons teeth. They sell for 81 gold apiece
