Is there any way to install cod a.w. disc 1 (which is the campaign install) to a flashed xbox 360 without having it on disc? I tried just moving the contents folder over to 00000000000 on the hdd and it loaded once but when I backed out and restarted it says I have to install disc 1 for campaign. ANY help would be great!

You need to do the same as GTA V.

Which is extract the content from disk one using xbox backup creator and img browser.

Once you have the content from disk 1 extracted copy it over to a MS formated usb via 360 rev or any other tool.

Then plug it into the console and copy the content to the main HDD.

I did extract the content folder from disc 1, I then copied it over to a flash drive that was formatted correctly, then to the 360 hdd. It still says I need to install disc 1. Am I missing something?

when I copied it the the xbox hdd it was only 2gbs? hmm. Do I copy the contents of the content folder or the folder itself?
Also, is there a specific place I want to put the contents on the flash drive? like a certain directory?

    0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 41560914051BF3C0 (Installer Package 01)
    0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 4156091407406280 (Installer Package 02)

Ok, yep, I see those 2 files in the content folder. Now, do I copy them out and to the flash drive or do I copy the "content" folder with them inside to the flash drive? Also, what directory on the flash drive do they go in? I really appreciate the help, thank you.

Copy the files only not the folder.

Make sure the USB is MS formated and use 360 rev or whatever tool you use to copy the content files onto the USB.

Once copied over remove USB from lappy/pc plug into 360 go to storage settings USB and move both of the install files to the 360's main HDD this should solve the issue for you.

    Just to make sure.......

You have extracted content from disc one and added to hdd/content ?
Then you have disc 2 extracted to folder and placed that on your hdd/games ?

If so just boot default in disc2 folder and it should work fine.

Ok so you can still add the content to hdd from disc 1 (i think) or just install disc1 via disc.
Also try and install disc2 if you get a error its a bad burn.
