Hey everybody, So I've recently had an issue where I can't play Rome II from the new update (Emperor Edition). So i'm here to show you how to fix it step by step. Please read below for all steps on how to fix it 1) Go to your Steam and then goto 'Game Library' and find Total War: Rome II on the left hand side 2) Right click Total War: Rome II and goto the bottom option called ''Properties'' 3) One you're in the properties option, click ''Local Files'' which will be the third option 4) Now you will need to click ''Verify Integrity of the Game Cache'' 5) Wait for it to finish, may take 5 - 10 minutes After you're done that, and update will come up that will take no less that 5 minutes. And there you have it, your game now works. Why did this problem occur? The games installation failed to update which it will say during the verifying of integrity process. Then what it will do is re-install the missing part which is a small update and then it will be 100% working again. Thanks for reading guys, hope this helped!
