We both have a love for Diablo 3 RoS, I released the first modded Saves for Reaper of Souls on here and have been doing a few good things on Diablo 3 RoS mostly had to do it manual but been very very popular got a few more I've been working on also. I haven't really been following your work on Diablo 3 I have your tool but not used it, but I've heard good things and know you do good work so will be good to see what comes When are you looking of having full database up and working and will it auto update and can users add to there own database like the other well known Diablo 3 SE or will it only be server side and only yourself add to it. Would be great if so as I know the creator of the other tool won't be updating it for Diablo 3 RoS well not working on anything as of yet anyway he says
If only you seen what we have been up to all this time i have been working hard since the 17th putting together every item in the game by the time the game was released sadly the database got bombarded with users and we couldnt get anything entered into the servers at the time now that we are back up and running just wait til you see whats coming lets just say i have accomplished 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 damage in 1 strike and that is no exaggeration that is the literal cap of the games damage
I know and speak, to the anther you spoke of quite well. The database has every item in the game, and I do mean every item there will be no need for any user to input there own information. The database is very well organized and maintained by a very large group of people. Not only is it in English but Chinese and I just singed on two new members to translate to Portuguese and Arabic. Currently looking for other langues as well.
Maybe I could of helped as I've been doing nothing but working on Diablo 3 RoS stuff since then also lol, I know you asked a guy who used my save and just unlocked act 5 to help and work on your team, you do know that was my save? I had done all that just he unlocked act 5 that was all lol. But yeah I've got a few nice ones I keep meaning to update my updated thread but I get into doing so much on it then work out even more stuff that I can do so I start playing around even more adding more and more stuff lol. I've got the armor and damage up to like 56billion but it just makes the game boarding really as everything is 1 hit I mean I walk around with my wizard and I don't even attack and everything dies around me coz of some of the skills lol,, my follower is even more poweful than me I ended up leaving him back at Tristrim as it got boaring walking round and not getting into any fights as he's kill everything in site lol I like to have a balance were its still a fun challenege if its just one hit kill kind of kills the game, but I'll still do it for the community but also going to do diffenet version something for everyone. I've also worked out how to clear all of the challenges back too 0 so you able to run through and still get all of the achievements because if in the account in challeneges say The Skeleton kill has been done, no matter even if you start a new character and kill him you wont get the achievement and people making saves where the challeneges are like 90% done you can't get any achievements sounds perfect when do you think it will be available to all to use. Silly question but I have to ask it will be a free service yes? no login required for it? I know he had his reasons to create a white-list back then but something I'd still like to ask I'm sure it will be
oh i totally agree 1 hit kills are overkill i don't like it either we were just curious to see how much we can break it before trying to balance it and actually jappi was the one with signing in that white-listed his editor we have never had to whitelist it only shut down servers for auto updates temporarly due to DDOS issues. Our editor is alot different from jappi's and cannot be compared to each other they are on 2 completely different levels. On that note jappi's editor still can't even mod RoS saves so that shows the amount of difference in the tools.
I've actually been modding RoS saves with Jappi's editor I didn't even realise you had finished this editor and had released it I've just downloaded it now and will take a look great work on getting every single item in the database thats amazing. Like I said I've not really seen or used your tool (sorry) but will now I'll see if I can create some more amazing saves with your tool. But yeah all the saves I've been modding and creating I've actually been doing with his old save editor lol, using a old diablo 3 save with the contents changed and replaced with RoS and also alot of manual editing but yeah I worked out a way to use his (you gotta do what you gotta do when its all I had hehe) I'll take a look now at your editor cheers for the hard work you guys put into this
I have tried to keep it free and opensource, but anyone who runs any kind of online database can tell you there not the cheapest to setup run or maintain. though I have tried to keep it free for everyone to use I only ask that all users chip in for for server cost's.
yup atm our affix database is a little lacking due to the fact we had to rewrite tons of the affixes with their new ranges intact but all the GBID's are available
