Disney Infinity 2 gets Guardians of the Galaxies Play Set Guardians get their own playable adventure on Knowhere The spacefaring rogues that are the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in molded plastic for Disney Infinity 2 this autumn. Launching not long after their cinematic debut on August 1, Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax and Groot will join the crossover 'Toys to Life' game with their own Play Set adventure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncIACV_Q17A In the Play Set, the Guardians battle through space station/severed head Knowhere on the run from Ronan the Accuser and his Sakaaran fleet. Iron Man from the Avengers Play Set and Nova from the Spider-Man playset can join the Guardians on their adventure. Several power discs will be sold alongside the figurines, including a team-up with alien archer Yondu and powerful Space Armor for Gamora. All content can be used in the Toy Box 2.0 creation mode, and all of the new characters can join in the Attack on Asgard Toy Box Game. Disney Interactive announced Monday that it will release a PlayStation-exclusive Disney Infinity 2 Collector's Edition. It includes the Starter Pack, Captain America, Hawkeye and Hulk, and a collector's diorama stand for the Avengers team.
