343 Industries has revealed that Halo 4 will be receiving a playlist update that will add 'Ninja Assassins'; an 8-player free-for-all game type in which Spartans are kitted out in custom armour, equipped with Energy Swords and Sniper Rifles and outfitted with a Thruster Pack. Motion trackers are switched off, and you'll bag 10 points for each kill, with Assassinations bagging 30 points. The idea revolves around levelling up during each life by getting successive kills, with one kill awarding Ninja Level 1, two kills boosting you to Level 2 and three kills in a row getting you to Level 3. Each level brings with it boosted attributes, as follows: Ninja Level 1 Shields recharge at a faster rate (2x) Assassinations performed at a faster rate (2x) Ninja Level 2 Shields recharge at a faster rate (2x) Shields recharge sooner than normal (after 3 seconds) Assassinations performed at a faster rate (3x) Ninja Level 3 Shields recharge at a faster rate (2x) Shields recharge sooner than normal (after 2 seconds) Assassinations performed at a faster rate (4x) Unlimited Thruster Pack energy You'll be able to check out the new Ninja Assassins featured playlist in Halo 4 through April 28th. ~Source: here
