ok i got a new remote and ribbon today thought itd be straight forward ive got latest xk3y fw and xk3y finds my hdd and games and goes to mixed media disk but as soon as i click eject it cycles through open tray then closing reading then i get black screen with one red flashing light i right hand corner my drive is hitachi flashed back to stock firmware and named firmware.bin ive tried cfw flashed and named firmware.bin still same ive even spoofed to rev 78 and still same someone help me please before i throw the thing in the bin lol its a phat 360 by the way hope this is right forum
1 RROD error (Black screen on TV and one red light on console) when trying to load up an XGD3 game - you either have a drive that is not emulating properly (like a hitachi 47 at the moment) or you are emulating an older firmware, and not the new type. Ex: Emulating OFW for 73450c (also 74580c for a LITEON drive FAT console), when you are on a new dashboard and it should be 02510c. When emulating DVD drive firmware please be sure to use the latest firmware that supports XGD3 games as detailed in the installation section There you go that's your problem Just follow the instructions step by step in the x-key manual and you shouldn't have a problem really
Yup do what EVO posted. You need to update your dvd drive firmware/firmware you put on xkey and also use a updated firmware for your xkey
