So yesterday I plug my xbox in to the hdmi port 4 on my panasonic 3d tv, it wouldnt appear on screen. It worked fine the last time i played it. Then I put my ps3 into hdmi4 and it wouldnt work so i switched it to hdmi 1 and worked fine. How ever the xbox wont appear on screen while in hdmi 1. I hope this isnt confusing lol but i cant figure this out and you guys are some of the smartest people i know of.

    Cheers for any help!

I'll try with my regular microsoft cable when i get chance but just wondered what people suggested i could do

This kind of happened to me the otherday, I was using HDMI port 1 and I unplugged it without switching off... (Stupid I know) but it wouldn't work afterwards so I plugged it into port 2 and it came on, after turning the TV off and back on it worked again. Could be something similar.

When your 360 was working what exactly happened between it working and not working? Did you remove the HDMI without switching the 360 off, did you have a power cut. Or did you turn it off properly and it just wouldn't work?

Use a different HDMI port as my HD Tv is the same will work on HDMI 2 port but not HDMI 1 ;)

If it still aint working try replacing the HDMI cable itself ;)

Try this, it definitely worked for me when I had a similar problem.

    Reset the console display settings

If the display problem is still not resolved, reset the display settings of your console. Here's how:
Remove any discs from the disc tray.
    Turn off the console.
    Turn on the console.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left light illuminated.
As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.
