The Xbox marketing team made a blunder yesterday when they made a tweet claiming that massive third-party games such as Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Assassins Creed Unity are Xbox One exclusives.

The tweet was quickly taken down when it was met with a backlash from angry gamers who were quick to point out the Tweet was misleading.

The Tweet had an image that was made up of images for the following games: Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, The Master Chief Collection, Evolve and Assassin's Creed Unity. You have most likely spotted the error already, as did many gamers on Twitter.

Out of all the games featured only three of them are actually Xbox One exclusives, but even that is debatable as Forza Horizon 2 will have its own version for Xbox 360. The Master chief collection is made up of remade games that also featured on not only the Xbox 360, but also on the original Xbox.

The text on the Tweet read: "We aren't saying #XboxOne has the best exclusives.
That's just what everyone else says."

Of course this stirred up quite a bit of controversy and caused uproar amongst the PS4 community because three of the games mentioned are of course coming to the PS4 also.

So the question is was this really a stupid blunder on behalf of the Xbox Marketing team, or was this really a clever way of generating some free publicity?
