A user on NeoGAF has leaked a Portuguese version of the Xbox One user manual. UOL Jogos uploaded a PDF which you can view below. The manual clearly shows that you can not use your Xbox One standing vertically as we reported, due to the fact that the drive isn't designed to work in the upright position. The manual also shows that the new Kinect needs less space to operate, which is good news for a lot of us. Lets look at a comparison taken from the manual. New Kinect : Max Height : 1.8 meters - 5.9 feet above television (The height the kinect can be placed above the TV) Minimum distance: 1.4 meters - 4.6 feet (The minimum distance between you and the Kinect) Original Kinect: Maximum height: 1.37 meters - 4.5 feet (The height the kinect can be placed above the TV) Minimum distance: 1.8m - 6 feet (1 player) 2.5m/8 feet ( two players) (The minimum distance between you and the Kinect) As you can clearly see the Xbox One Kinect sensor will require less space for operation.
