Xbox live is now in real trouble as modders now have the ability to get their Jtags and RGH online once again. If you remember the old days when every game on Modern Warfare 2 you joined was modded , everytime you played Call of duty 4 you was thrown into a modded lobby , then you will know what to expect. Games such as Halo , Call of Duty Black ops , Modern Warfare 3 are going to be turned upside down by modders. After the days of MW2 being destroyed by modders , Microsoft took steps to prevent Jtags from getting online. These security measures have now been circumvented and once again the masses have the means to connect their modded Xbox 360 consoles to Xbox live. If you dont already know what a Jtag or RGH is , its basically a modified console. Once the console has been xploited it allows the running of unsigned code ( homebrew) . This gives modders the ability to rewrite parts of games and run them on their modified consoles, these are known as mods. The recent release of methods to get online is great news for modders but bad news for legitimate gamers. What are your thoughts on this, do you think that Microsoft needs to step up its security , or do you enjoy modding games online?
